The Fat Kid Inside x Team Manila Apparel collaboration

We have an upcoming collaboration with Team Manila for different apparel like t-shirts, aprons, kitchen mits (maybe), tumblers and the likes. Since this is already a collab, we thought it would be even more interesting to get the readers (yes, you guys) involved in the process and ask you for you opinions, what you like/don’t like and if you are really truly passionately crazy in love with one idea over another. Who knows your ideas might even be better than ours! So drop us a comment below after perusing the following samples and let us know what’s going on in that complex mind of yours.

The lemons-ceviche one looks tote awesome! Saw these on IG and freaked out about it with a friend, who rushed to the nearest TM store to see if she could get one for me. Wala pa sa stores! Super excited wasn’t reading the caption lol. Megafail.

I like the last one “When life gives you Lemons make ceviche” as it has more colors. They also often associate the color yellow with food. :) More colors and graphics! How about the fat kid inside logo? and the text “sometimes fatty, sometimes healthy”?

This idea is amazingggg. Can you use “Tagalog” statements for a more ‘maka-bayang’ tee? But not to the extend that it would sounds like ‘Jeje’.

First of all, awesome ideas for tee! :) Maybe you could make some minimalist designs not just typography, like you can make your own ‘branding’ that will definitely represent Fat kid and your reader as well. I hope you consider my suggestion teehee!

      Love the Red Wine Shirt.
Just don’t like brand names directly printed on the front part.

      Just the statement.

It would be cool if these shirts had like XXL sizes…cos you know, they talk about food. (But then again, it’s just my humble opinion.) Really cool designs!

about THE FAT KID

I gained weight because of a sedentary lifestyle and overly indulging in foods I knew were bad for me, eating out too often, taking the easy route (microwavable dishes) and not caring what went in my body, before I knew it reached 240 lbs. I lost weight through pure dedication, tireless hours of hard work and yes, food. I cooked my way to fitness, making sure to only feed myself tasty well prepared dishes with all the right stuff, the perfect fuel, taking me down to 150lbs. Of course I indulge from time to time, as the fat kid still lurks inside of me; here you will find a little bit of everything for the sole purpose of sharing my passion for food and life.
