I always have these two problems: overripe bananas and rushing out the door in the morning hungry. I always try to find new ways to use overripe bananas so it won’t go to waste. The easiest was either turning it into frozen yoghurt (a yummy hot afternoon treat by the way) or making banana bread loaf & muffins (I’m actually running out of people to give my freshly baked pastries to. Haha!).
Since I started eating healthy, I decided to use my overripe bananas for overnight oats (instead in my usual pastries). It was a WIN-WIN since I didn’t have to buy myself a “grab and go” breakfast and it was healthy to boot.
This recipe is versatile and so easy to make. You only need 5 ingredients for this breakfast in a jar. Satisfies the sweet tooth as well!
