Terms of Submission
Welcome to The Fat Kid Inside! Before you submit anything, we want to share with you the terms that apply with respect to submitting content.
Keep in mind that this is not an ask box. Questions, requests, business inquiries, suggestions, and promotional and marketing materials will not be published, answered, or entertained. If you have any business inquiries, send them to
thefatkidinside05@gmail.com. This form is for submission of weight loss stories and blog articles that coincide with The Fat Kid Inside’s interests only.
By submitting any article, story, photos, content, and other materials (“Submission”) to The Fat Kid Inside (or “TFKI”, “website”, “we, us, our”), you acknowledge that you are at least thirteen (13) years of age. You acknowledge your Submission is solely yours, original, and does not infringe on any third party rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark or patent, or create claims for idea misappropriation or breach of contract. You acknowledge that your Submission does not contain statements of fact that are false, inaccurate, and misleading. Your Submission must not contain any viruses, malware, and other harmful or destructive materials. Your Submission must not contain any violent, pornographic, gory, threatening, defamatory, libelous, obscene, harassing, racially and morally offensive, and other abusive and illegal material.
You acknowledge that submission of any content does not guarantee publishing and/or compensation. The Fat Kid Inside reserves the right to publish or not publish any submission sent to us.
Your Submission will not be acknowledged or returned. You acknowledge and agree that you are sending your Submission voluntarily and not in confidence and that no confidential relationship is intended or created between The Fat Kid Inside and/or any other person or entity, on the one hand, and you, on the other hand. You understand that if your Submission is published or used by The Fat Kid Inside in any way, such use will not be considered an employment opportunity.
You grant TFKI the non-exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable rights to use, reproduce, copy, publish, display, distribute, perform, translate, adapt, modify, and otherwise exploit your Submission and to incorporate your Submission in the Materials and any other works in any and all markets and media now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional notification, permission, approval, or compensation.
The Fat Kid Inside reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to (a) edit the Submission, (b) supplement or co-mingle the Submission with our trade names, trademarks, and service marks and with content provided by us or by third parties, (c) remove the Submission from the website, and (d) benefit commercially from the Submission.
If you wish to publish your Submission as “Anonymous”, let us know in your Submission but understand that you will still need to provide your full, real name and email address on the Submission form. The Fat Kid Inside will make no guarantee that your Submission will be published anonymously and will not be responsible for any damages caused by not publishing your Submission anonymously. TFKI does not guarantee full anonymity even by publishing your Submission under “Anonymous”. TFKI will not be responsible for any harm resulting in the unintentional or intentional disclosure of your identity.
If The Fat Kid Inside decides to publish your Submission, you understand that your Submission will be available to the public via the Internet. You should not submit anything that is offensive, defamatory, misleading, private, and infringing on someone else’s intellectual property rights. You understand that you are solely responsible for any legal or other repercussions that may arise from the publishing of your Submission. The Fat Kid Inside assumes no responsibility or liability that may arise from your Submission. TFKI is under no obligation to delete or remove your Submission once published, but reserves the right to do so at our own discretion.
You understand that if you submit a story, photos, and weight loss tips as part of our Weight Loss Inspiration section of The Fat Kid Inside, you will not receive payment or compensation of any form for your Submission regardless if your Submission was published or not. You are not entitled for reimbursement of any kind for your expenses made related to or to create your Submission. The Fat Kid Inside is not obligated to provide you with any data or information regarding your Submission or the website itself, such as but not limited to page views.
If you are submitting a blog article only commissioned by the team of The Fat Kid Inside, that is not for the Weight Loss Inspiration section of The Fat Kid Inside, we are offering a minimum payment of six-hundred Philippine pesos (PHP 600) on a case-to-case basis, depending on several factors including but not limited to length, quality of work, and relevance to The Fat Kid Inside blog and website. Only those submitting these types of content should provide payment details along with their editorial contact. Payment is only applicable to published Submissions on the website. We will contact you individually and privately regarding compensation should we see that your Submission qualifies. If you wish to join The Fat Kid Inside team as a writer and/or believe that your Submission deserves more compensation, please email us at
thefatkidinside05@gmail.com and do NOT use this submission form. This form is only for those who believe that they will benefit personally or professionally from the publication of their Submission in line with The Fat Kid Inside’s goals as a website.
These Terms of Submission shall be subject to and governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, excluding its conflicts of law rules.
