So let me tell you about one of our newest concepts, Bait’s Seafood Kitchen. It’s basically a market-driven seafood restaurant where we source the freshest seafood and make a daily menu out of the day’s freshest catch.
Helmed by two-time nominee of Food and Wine Magazine’s People’s Best New Chef, Joseph Margate (who was previously Executive Chef of The Liberty Hotel’s restaurant, CLINK in Boston), Bait’s is a cozy open-kitchen seafood restaurant that showcases Chef Joseph’s European techniques and the abundance of the Philippines’ fresh seafood from all our 7,107 islands!
Specializing in sauces, Chef Joseph also has a hot sauce fermentation bar by the open kitchen. Definitely something you shouldn’t miss if you like your food a little spicy.
Located in the center of the hustle and bustle in the Makati Business District, it’s a go-to place for fresh, fine, and sustainable fare. Décor-wise, it’s a bit eclectic. With the bespoke furnishings all over and industrial touches here and there, folks like hipster yuppies to dignified boss-types will all feel welcome.
While seafood is Bait’s specialty, we also have other selections in the menu like meat and vegetarian dishes that pairs well with our selected wine list, craft beers, and bottled cocktails. And with a menu based on the day’s catch, you’re sure to try something new every day.
That said, hope to catch you at Bait’s!
