Everyone nowadays is a storyteller, but we actually put our money where our mouth is. Most of the stories and videos published on FEATR are done without funding, brand support or  commissioning. We put those videos together, because we are passionate about unearthing stories and giving them justice. We apply that same ethos to all our client work. We are a mix of first generation internet creators and new short-form centric thinkers, working on both hour long documentaries and 15 second shorts,  with the purpose of creating the best pieces of content that will get your brand where you want it to be.

In House Production

We have an in-house, constantly shooting and ready to be deployed production team. From audio engineering, to cinematographers, videographers, story producers to post production artists. Most of the projects we take on, don’t require third party contractors or freelancers. This allows us to move faster and productively, all while being cost efficient.

We all come to work in our 500 sqm Studio in Mandaluyong city, where we have all the cameras, lenses, lights, rigs and equipment, as well as kitchen sets, to make any shoot happen.

Publishing - FEATR Media

The Philippines media landscape is dominated by two broadcasting companies.

We established FEATR Media in 2021 because we saw an opportunity to create television-caliber shows and series, online. 
We are now a publisher, with its own production company. Meaning we can now create and run multiple shows and series, with different hosts and formats. 

We currently have a community of over 6 million people across social media and our founder has a community of 6 million additional people on his personal accounts.

Internet Kids

Thefatkidinside.com started in 2010, as a written healthy food blog (yes with a B), it then became a Youtube channel lead by Erwan Heussaff, basically a food vlog (this time with a V). We started producing higher quality videos online that required a slightly larger team, so we had to set up our own production company.

As we grew, so did the consistency of content that was required to stay relevant online, we saw more and more companies advertising on digital platforms and since we had been producing content for ourselves for over a decade, we started offering our services to them. We now create all the content, shows and series you can watch on our publishing channel FEATR. We also consult, strategize, create and produce content for clients in different industries, across Asia. 

We pride ourselves in producing digitally native TV-caliber content that never loses the je-ne-sais-quoi of the internet.

Meet the Founder

Erwan Heussaff isn’t a chef and he was never a filmmaker. 

He used to work in the food business, mainly as a creative and an operations manager. He managed mid-sized teams and properties  in Thailand, Vietnam, China, Russia and France, before coming back to the Philippines in 2010. 

He came up during a time where there weren’t any labels yet on the internet. They were all just people making videos. As he grew his personal brand, through recipe videos as a side business, he was managing a group of restaurants and bars  in Manila. 

When the internet grew, so did his side hustle; to the point it eventually took over the time needed for his other ventures. Seeing the potential in all things digital, he made a lot of mistakes and set up The Fat Kid Inside. A production company that was never meant to be, founded by someone who had no experience in the production business.

That’s probably what drove the business to success, because the internet isn’t a conventional place, so why would the approach be?
